FEAR NOT
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10)
Many youths fear a lot of things but do not fear God. What an irony! Sometimes, we are tempted to fear snakes, darkness, water, height, examinations, and even man, to mention a few. But fear has torments (1 John 4:18) Fear is an enemy of faith. Fear is False Expectation, Appearing Real. It is an illusion of a "danger" which may not exist. Fear always seeks for victims to put in bondage. Fear is opposed to the believer and his faith in Christ. God's reassurance to you is "fear thou not; I am with thee..."
Take an inventory of your heart and list out what you fear. The number of "fear not" in the Bible, surely, will outnumber the list of what you fear. Replace your fear with faith and trust in God who says, "I am with thee". If you need any help, He says, "I will help thee" and in your weakness His promise is, "I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness". What a privilege! What a solace it is to rest in the hand of the Lord that is mighty to save. God will never fail and will not fail you. Fear not. Only believe. March forward in your actions of faith to achieve your goals. God walks closely with boys and girls who believe in Him.
Challenge: Fear breeds worry and anxiety, only faith can conquer giants.
Prayer: Put your hand on me, oh God and develop in me God's kind of faith.
