YEAR OF SUCCESS
“And this day shall be unto you for a memorial…This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Exodus 12: 14; Joshua 1: 8).
Success is God's desire and plan for every Christian student. It is the will of God for you to make progress in your work as a student. Progress comes day by day as you conscientiously take steps on the pathway of success. A house is not built in a day. An edifice comes to be as blocks are laid and piled up one block on another. Your academic achievements of the past years will be consolidated this year as you make further progress in your studies. This year shall be a year of success for you in Jesus' name. It shall be the beginning of great exploits for your future prospects and prosperity.
The Lord expects that you make this year a year of purposeful labor for your success. It is possible for you to do better this year than ever before. However, you need God in your life to be an achiever. You must always remember that “...the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong” (Ecclesiastes 9: 11) and, “Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalm 127: 1). A good success is for you if you will trust God, obey His words and be diligent in your studies this year more than you ever did in the past. There will be progress if you make God your Partner. Turn over your life to Jesus and let God take care of your life endeavors.
Challenge: This is my year of success.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me success in my work this year and make me an achiever.
