“I WILL NOT FORGET THEE”
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” (Isaiah 49:15).
You are one of the many people God is speaking to through Prophet Isaiah today. You have recently gone through a lot of challenges and you felt bad that things did not turn out the way you hoped. You prayed and prayed and it was as if God was not going to answer your prayers. Relax, God is still in control. He will not forget you.
God is near in your greatest storm. God is there on your graduation day. Whether in pain or pleasure, His presence is ever assured. He said it before and He is saying it to you again, “I will not forget you.”
No woman will stay 24 hours around a healthy baby. And even a sick baby will sometimes receive care from a distance. The Intensive Care Unit of hospitals is only for the weakest patients and premature babies. But in the presence of God we are always within His reach. In spite of your fears, you are a blessed person. You are part of His plan for mankind. No matter what, no matter how, He will never forget you. He has engraved you in the palm of His hands and the situation around is continually before Him. Praise the Lord!
Challenge: To me, faith means not worrying. - Dewey Prayer: Thank You Father for remembering me everyday. I am grateful.
